Backstory
Transit engineer Nia Calder survived a bridge collapse by absorbing the motion of falling steel into her own body. She can now halt moving objects with a touch and release their momentum later, but every stored impact makes stillness physically painful. By day she designs safer public spaces; by night she protects the city as Stillpoint, always moving so nobody sees her hands shake.
